Menu inspired by celebrity chef Curtis Aiken

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Seed to Farmacy, a farm-to-table dining experience featuring fresh food, a celebrity chef, music, farmers’ market and silent auction on Thursday, June 6, will benefit programs at Geisinger's Fresh Food Farmacy in Lewistown. 

This event from 6 to 10 p.m. at The Nittany Lion Inn, 200 W. Park Ave., State College will feature food prepared by Food Network personality Curtis Aikens

This farm-to-table dining experience that will directly benefit local programs that help local people. Proceeds from the event and silent auction directly benefits the Fresh Food Farmacy program in Lewistown.

Fresh Food Farmacy offers those with diabetes and who suffer from food insecurity to be “prescribed” fresh produce and healthier food options from food banks. Nutritionists and social workers coach the patients to help manage diets and improve their general health. 

Patients using the program in Shamokin are enjoying amazing results – some losing quite a few pounds and some lowering their HbA1c levels by nearly a half.

Many sponsorship opportunities are available, and event tickets are $125 per person.
