Our mission is to empower you to achieve excellence in emergency medicine while fostering your passions and personal growth. We’re committed to training compassionate, highly skilled physicians capable of delivering equitable, evidence-based care in complex and diverse clinical settings.
Our program emphasizes:
- Individualized training: Leveraging coaching and personalized learning plans to help you reach your full potential.
- Excellence in clinical practice: Cultivating mastery across the entire spectrum of emergency care, including high-acuity and complex cases across all age groups.
- Leadership development: Equipping residents to lead in clinical, academic and administrative domains.
- Commitment to well-being: Prioritizing personal and professional development with support from a dedicated Graduate Medical Education Director of Well-Being.
- Equity in care: Addressing social determinants of health to deliver compassionate, tailored care.
Our program provides exposure to both a large tertiary referral center and an underserved inner-city emergency department, creating a robust foundation for developing competent, compassionate emergency medicine physicians.
